In general, I only use pictures that I have taken from my garden. However, I just planted this Kaempferia, and it will take some time for it to fill out like the picture above. This image is from Gingerwood Nursery, which I bought online. Others sell this plant.

I promise to replace this image with one of my own soon. I’ve noticed the white and green stripes on the picture above are not as distinct on my new plant, but this may change with time. It produces a very pretty white and purple flower which can be seen by doing an internet search.

I’ve recently updated the list of plant shows and sales in South Florida. I am greatly indebted to several people who sent in additional sales, and I apologize for not listing them sooner. I missed some really terrific sales, including (drum roll please) October sales, USF Plant Festival, Tampa and Orchids in October, FTG, Coral Gables, and November sales, Plant-a-Palooza, Mounts, West Palm Beach, and Edison-Ford Estate, Fall garden festival in Ft. Myers.
