March 7 and 8, 2026 South Florida Palm Society Spring Palm Sale, University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL 33134. Sale takes place in the Gifford Arboretum Faculty Parking lot. There will be a huge variety of palms and cycads, nearly 300 species in total. It is next to the Gifford arboretum, and tours are planned for Saturday and Sunday. Weather is perfect, and really worth a stroll through the arboretum, if you are not that interested in palms. I may a bit biased because I am the Society’s President and event organizer of the sale. (note full disclosure). Note, sale ends at 3:00 pm Sunday.

March 7 and 8, 2026, Exotic Plant Festival & Bonsai Show, Flamingo Gardens, Davie, FL Flamingo Gardens annual Exotic Plant Festival and Bonsai Show features a bonsai show presented by the Broward Bonsai Society in the Mary N. April 4 and 5, 2026, Annual Spring Palm and Cycad Sale, Palm Beach Palm and Cycad Society, Mounts Botanical Garden, West Palm Beach. Hundred species of Palms & Cycads in all shapes and sizes, a limited supply of a top-rated fertilizer, palm and cycad reference books, Palm Beach Palm & Cycad Society t-shirts and hats available for purchase. And free knowledgeable advice.

April 3,4 & 5, 2026 44th International Orchid & Bromeliad Show, Flamingo Gardens, FL .Experience the beauty and diversity of orchids and bromeliads at the 44th International Orchid and Bromeliad Show: “A Garden of Orchids,” at Flamingo Gardens. Rare and exotic orchids and bromeliads will be on display and for sale, along with an American Orchid Society judged orchid show hosted by the Flamingo Gardens Orchid Society. Music, food, orchid displays and orchid talks.
