Tetrazygia bicolor (West Indian Lilac)

The ribbed leaves look like Medinilla  plant which is in the same family Melanstomataceae, but it different genus.   Great butterfly attractor.   About 12 ft high.  Considered a Florida native, Caribbean origins.   It seems to get the sooty mold, but this doesn’t stop the tree from flowering.    I’ve been treating it with soapy water and pruning.
