Summer has arrived and my Chinese dwarf banana is looking terrific. Hopefully, it will stay bloomed for a few months. Banana tree is only about 4 ft tall. Once it goes to seed, I’ll remove the entire clump, to remove the pups (likely next spring) and replant the pups. Seems to grow well in South Florida, given the rather benign neglect it has received. Advice from banana.org suggests a balance fertilizer or cow compost, plus mulch. Does not produce edible bananas.

Still beautiful, Eve if it does not produce fruit.
