Abutilon megapotamicum (Brazilian bellflower)

This plant is growing in a pot in my backyard, where I can give it the tender loving care – like slow release fertilizer and frequent watering in winter.  Flowers are small, about 1.5″ and abundant.

I don’t know if I’ll ever plant it out.  It is happy as a clam in a pot, and if we have some scorching hot and dry days in summer, this plant would be in trouble.    Comments on Dave’s Garden seems to confirm that a large container is best:
