I have updated the plant show list. Two big sales this weekend, International Aroid Show in Miami, and the Summer Plant sale at West Palm Beach. Many new listings for October and November.

The Vriesea kupperiana is another shade loving bromeliad. I have not yet seen the inflorescence, but it is reported to be a small sword. It seems very hardy as long as it is in partial shade and gets enough water. Really stands out in the garden with darker green plants. Will eventually develop pups which I divide and give away.
