Kaempferia rotunda ‘Asian Crocus’

The procession of gingers began Sunday, March 31, with the Kaempferia rotunda ‘Asian Crocus’, just in time for Easter. The flowers poke up before the leaves. Previously, I have posted information on the procession of Kaempferia’s and others. The Asian crocus tends to be the first Kaempferias to poke up.

I received a very nice email from Mounts Botanical Garden to add their Spring Sale – Plant-a-Palooza on the list of plant sales. This is an event not to be missed and I really regret not adding their sale on the last post.

Happy Gardening,

Dave
