It is certainly a Billbergia but “HalIelujah’ variety could be wrong.  Quite a spectacular flower.  Shady area is a must.  Apparently, the only way to get it to flower is to sing to it on a full moon night.    If you know of a better way, let me know, because the neighbors are complaining.   More bromeliad photos coming.
