Kaempferia rotunda ‘Asian crocus’

Kaempferias are from the ginger family.  The plant foliage “drops”  and disappears during the winter, but will come back to life in the spring to summer time.  The first Kaempferia to “resurrect”  is Kaempferia rotunda, with the flowers first poking up,  later followed by the entire plant.  This flower popped up around April 1, in time for Easter.   Looking forward to seeing more come to life.
