Kalanchoe tetraphylla (Paddle plant, flapjack plant)

This is a succulent from South Africa, which grows very easily in southern Florida.   Dave’s garden website says to pronounce this  kal-un-KOH- ee, but if you want to call it ka-LAN-cho-ee  you might be understood at your local nursery.     Or just ask for a paddle plant.

Others websites refer to this as K. thysiflora.   Next time it blooms, I’ll post pictures, to show that it is either K. thysiflora or K. tetraphylla.  It’s part of the Crassulaceae family.
